Studies show that walking at a relaxed pace in a natural setting (aka forest bathing) reduces levels of stress hormones (like cortisol!), improves sleep quality and increases the diversity and robustness of our microbiome. Partner that with cultivating relationships and conversations with women in your local community and you have an all around health-full and fun experience! Before we start our walk we will talk about many ways to make the walk more interesting and sensory-stimulating with arm motions, pelvic position, diaphragm access and bare feet (or minimalist shoes-if you like!-no pressure) and then we will have a lovely walk around Lake Johnson's Walnut Creek Trail-before sun set for safety's sake!
