CHRISSY KING Chrissy King is a Milwaukee-based ISSA certified personal trainer, lifestyle coach, and fitness blogger. She was introduced to strength training and eventually powerlifting. This once super weak young woman who hadn’t done any exercise outside of long hours of cardio (and couldn’t even do a single push up) discovered a new confidence and inner strength. She fell in love with strength training and more importantly, changed my focus and my goals. She stopped focusing on being skinny and fell in love with the process. If she had to describe herself to you, she would say that she’s a lover of heavy lifting, all things food, traveling withherhubby, and enjoying an occasional glass of wine.

KIRSTY GOSART In her youth, Kirsty was national gymnastics champion and a competitive coach in Scotland. A severe elbow injury ended her career as a gymnast. But, in her thirties — and now living in Canada — she rediscovered the joy of handbalancing and bodyweight fitness... in her garage. It took a while to strengthen and trust her elbow, but she now shares her passion for balancing and bodyweight with an online community of students in her online handstand course, in gymnastics classes in Toronto and in workshops and events, worldwide. She loves helping people develop strength and flexibility at the same time as learning cool moves and tricks... plus she thinks this stuff makes you a flat out better person.

PALUNA SANTAMARIA I was introduced to zen meditation and yoga by my father at the age of six. However, always interested in movement I used meditation and yoga as a way to calm my busy mind and dance and sports as a way to build my physical practice. I started teaching “movement” at the age of 16 by assisting my former ballet teacher and I never stopped. 17 years later I continue to develop myself as an athlete and a teacher in a wide variety of disciplines including Olympic weightlifting, Pilates, Kettlebells, Powerlifting, Yoga, Nutrition and more. I love showing people that there's always something in the movement world they can be great at regardless of age, gender and athletic abilities.

LAURA MEEKS Shy as a child, Laura stuck to spelling bees, science fairs, band and biscochito bake-offs rather than anything that required her to move her body in public. As a challenge to herself, she took on learning kettlebells for her 30th birthday and quickly fell in love with learning her strength, owning her space and wanting to help other women feel the same way. As a native born New Mexican, she transplanted to North Carolina in 2015. That move brought her to exactly where she was meant to be - and began her career as a coach. She loves helping people realize their power and taking back their lives. She continues taking on a new challenge every year as a nod to what kickstarted her passion with movement and loves to try new things. You can often find her on a Razor scooter with her kids, hiking or itching for a new adventure.
